Imagine that you have just stepped into an elevator with the ONE person you know can really help you and your business succeed...Oprah, Donald Trump, Steven Spielberg...you get the idea. You have only 30 seconds to get your message across before you reach the next floor. What would you say?

Hi there everyone! We are new to this site. We are looking to find out as much information as possible about marketing our Relationship Coaching Services to singles and eventually to couples. We already had our first Men's Night Out event and I felt that it was very interesting, but since my husband wanted to have a joint venture with this Rabbinical Couple it did not turn out to the best of what we can offer our clients. We are going solo in doing these events the next time. I guess it is a learning experience for us. Now it is time for us to follow up with all our potential clients. However, we would definitely benefit from other peoples marketing experience. How can we put a great hotel package together where we can have fun with all our single clients as well as get a serious discussion going? We need help with the advertising and communication of a great idea like this? I already have a few hotels in mind with staff on board ready to work with us. We don't want them to make all the money either. Any ideas about this?

I did the Supersonic Prosperity Oriented copywriting event at Accelerate Your Business and someone suggested I do it as a teleclass. Any interest? The handouts would be a big download (probably easier to snail mail them to everyone - it's like 150 pages or something!).... feedback welcome!

I thought I would post an interesting observation. While walking my doggies the other evening, a neighbor (who I know is in a MLM program) had a chance to chat and she mentioned that while at several national conferences for the product all the speakers talked about "on stage" was love and hugs and warm fuzzies etc. but when they got in the elevator together none of them spoke to her even though she had her name badge on and a shirt with the big MLM product logo on it and so forth. We laughed a bit over this when I compared her experience to "church" but it made me realize something very profound. People are watching us sales & marketing folks ALL the time! We must walk our talk everyday. People understand we'll have our moments, maybe we're feeling ill, or bad mood, we've experienced a loss, etc. but I really believe that to be consciously living our beliefs means we need to make sure we never let an opportunity to "connect" pass by. If we're on an elevator after giving the big "rah-rah" speech about love, show some love by saying hello to everyone as we or they enter/exit the elevator. People are always watching us! :)
