Today I watched Gary Nulls production Autism Made In The U.S.A. Boy is it a powerful message. We a country so rich in all resources are poisoning our children with our excess! Our children should never be silent and it is up to us to give them back their voices. It was a very powerful movie outlining the potential causes for a multitude of illness that can cause not only autism but many other syndromes as well. I was "touched" yesterday. I thought I was being "touched" everyday, but boy was I wrong! I went to the funeral of a dear friend, an elderly lady who was a previous patient of mine. I cried because I was sad, but mostly because I was "touched". As I sat there it became increasing obvious that this woman,(who had many friends), had loved each of us individually and uniquely but equally the same way. My son came out from a room in the back of our home tonight, grinning from ear to ear with excitement over something that he thought was in his words,"absolutly beautiful!" My husband and I looked at him with sheer horror as it was QUITE evident that he has found a pair of scissors and cut his hair.
