- Metaphysics, Pantheism, Unitarian Universalism, Zen Buddhism, Secular Humanism, Yoga, Martial arts, Tri-athletics,Tantric Yoga/Sex, Dark humor/Black-underground comedy, Stand-up comedy, Alternative Rock/Heavy metal, Rap/Underground-independent Hip hop, XBOX/XBOX 360 (Madden & NHL '08,topspin 2,HALO trilogy,& anything star wars related,etc.), T.V., Reading, eating (macrobiotic diet/raw seafood-sushi), Tennis(20 years playing and 12 years coaching & instructing),Ice-roller Hockey, Humanist and civil rights activism (fighting racism,sexism). I am also multiracial (black,dutch,american indian) so I am involved with some multiracial/multicultural activism (with the UUA & AHA) as well. My wife (of 10 years) was born in Puerto Rico and I love going to the island as much as I can. Setbacks? After all these years, my spanish SUCKS! Except when she curses me out in spanish, then I know what she is saying to me!!

- Anyone who shares my views, interests and zest for life. Playa haters welcome to comment as well, I always need gas for the fuel tank. The Four Noble Truths (of Buddhism) are my adapted beliefs about life (do a search if you are not familiar with them).The Yin Yang, OM and the UU chalice are my favorite symbols. But on the flip side, I like to laugh and have a good time, especially with my two boys. Like Jackie Chan said:" If you can't laugh at life, then how can you live it?".

- I believe you can still love America without having to be forced into a religious stranglehold. I choose to be a Humanist, a Unitarian Universalist, Zen Buddhist, Tantric/ Yoga practitioner and Pantheist and supporter of women rights and civil/gay rights. I choose not to be bogged down by ancient dogmas and falsified doctrines. There is no mention of god or gods in the constitution; Freud once said that religion was comparable to a childhood neurosis. Even past presidents had reservations regarding the U.S. turning into a "christian" nation. Thomas Jefferson once said "Question with boldness the exsistence of God". John Adams was quoted in a speech saying: " The government of the United States is not, in any form, founded on the Christian religion". In theory, a "real Christian man" should perhaps be someone who eschews violence of all sorts, who turns the other cheek whenever they are struck, and who insists on favoring peace over war no matter what the circumstances. That's the theory, at least, but it's rarely the reality. Not only have many Christian men throughout history eagerly engaged in violent combat, but not a few have treated combat as a test of one's Christian manliness.

On Sunday, August 31th, my friend Bobby Benz wrote this interesting blog. Not to put him on the spot or anything but I found his points to be very interesting. The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) has begun a second phase of national advertising with the April 14 edition (on newsstands April 4) of TIME Magazine, the most widely read news magazine in the United States with over 3 million subscribers and 21 million readers. In keeping with the ways in which the Internet is changing, tantra.com's Suzie Heumann (its founder) has begun to make instructional videos for the free video up-load websites. Posted now are 10 videos just last week on YouTube, though they'll be on the tantra.com site soon, too. They are on different sexuality subjects with a focus on Kama Sutra and Tantric techniques. The videos vary from 1 to 3 minutes long.
