Pay it forward Webinar... "Publicity"

When I first started out in business I had a very low marketing budget. (Almost nothing) I wanted to provide for my beautiful family and I enjoyed meeting and networking with other driven individuals. Over the first few years I searched far and wide for tools that I could implement in order to get publicity for my business with little to no marketing budget, and after testing various strategies and avenues I found a great step-by-step process for myself that grew to a point…

Home Alone

That was one of my favorite holiday movies, "Home Alone." I love how creative and resourceful he becomes when left alone. What do you do when left alone? How do you choose to spend your time physically and mentally? I have experienced a number of different phases when being alone. At times it is hard to sit still....to just be and do nothing. I find myself…

A Mother's Journey

Earlier this year, my mother had a surgery to remove a pain pump that had malfunctioned early. I am blessed to have the opportunity to go spend a week with her. What a difficult road to watch someone you love be in continual pain.  This experience brought many valuable lessons along the way. My intention for writing this is to share the process of learning to love and let go at a deeper level.

Being a natural health advocate for almost 18 years I have been blessed to work with some of…

Many of us have so many responsibilities in life that we forget to take care of ourselves. And while it’s hard to prioritize something like taking a bath when you have so many other priorities in life, self care is an important aspect of stress management. 7th Grader's Perspective on Hawaii Retreat - School Report!!!

Our Dare to Live Challenge Hawaii Retreat this past November 2012 had a beautiful impact on all the participants and facilitators. To be able to spend time with friends and family.....will be remembered for a lifetime!!! It was very eye opening to have my daughter share this report she turned in and learn more about her perspective. I was envious of her midnight run to the volcano (over 4 hour trip) to see and play with active lava. Looking forward to your comments :)…

When a Man Loves a Woman - They Say its Wonderful

August 11th, 2011 was the day Ari Gronich proposed to me at his parents home in Sacramento, California.  It was one of the most romantic moments I have ever experienced. His family, opened their hearts and homes instantly. We went to a musical "Annie Get Your Gun" the evening before. I sat in the middle watching and listening to Ari, his mother and father sing every song. A night I will always remember. Here is one of the…

My Balancing Act

“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can’t find them, make them.” ~ George Bernard Shaw

How can I make the best of my circumstances?

I was remembering an awesome conference my company sponsored with Balanced Woman Magazine a few years ago in South Florida. I loved the vision…

Day of Ceremony and Silence

On my wishlist for Hawaii was to have a day of complete silence so I could really be more present with what's going on inside of me and the world around me. With a family and work it seems like I never really get a break from technology and conversations.  So Ari and I took the day of silence. No computer, phones or talking. I was inspired by Eddie Murphy's latest movie "1,000 Words" Here is the trailer....I think it's a must see!…
